Hi Barbara: It never occured to me that Emily might have remarried, given the information that she died in 1897, but since Henry died in 1890, there's no reason she wouldn't have really. Wish she had made it to 1900 but by then the children were in other homes being reared by Paul/Choat relatives.I think it would be worth it to go back to Van Zandt cemetery records to see if there's a listing for an Emily Williams (c.1858 GA-1897 TX). Of Henry & Emily's children, Mollie was born July 1881, William born July 31, 1886 and Henrietta Jane (Hennie) born January 1 or 18, 1890 (family story gives her being born the same day her father died but her funeral home record gives her birth 17 days before).
I saw the census record with William and Ida but was not sure it was my William since the age was off by 5 years. Since I don't know where William married Ida (don't see it in Brown Co records) I reserved judgment until further proof. In 1900 William is in the hh of his Choat cousins. Nothing conclusive that I recall for 1910.
