I assume you know Tonya Parks as she asked me for some assistance in locating Lewis Emile Alexander, recently.
I found Lewis in the 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910 and 1920 census for Tonya and she has all the images now.
For anyone else who is interested in Lewis. He was reportedly born Mar. 1863 in Tennessee. His father is still unknown but he was born in France and died before 1870. His mother was Bertha and she was born abt 1834 in Hanover, Germany. Lewis had a brother John W. Alexander who was a coalminer in 1880 and he was born abt 1859 in New York.
In 1870, Bertha, John W. and Emile (aka Lewis and listed, for reasons unknown, as Emilia) were living in St. Louis Missouri.
In 1880, Bertha, John W. and Lewis E. were living in Carterville, Ill.
In 1900, Lewis (spelled Louis in this census) and Maggie were living in Galveston, Tx and he was already a Yardmaster for the Railroad. Maggie was reportedly born in Feb of 1863 and they had married abt 1889. After 11 years of marriage they had not had any children.
In 1910, Lewis is a widower, living alone in Teague, Tx.
By 1920 Lewis is married to Goldie Hardy and has children, Jack, Lewis and Louise, they still reside in Teague and he is still working for the Railroad.
By 1930 Lewis has died and Goldie has children, Jack, Lewis, Hardy and Michael still living with her, still in Teague.
As I say I expect that you have this from Tonya but for anyone else, here it is.
