Wilma, It might be more helpful to you if you would add more than the surname in the subject line. For example, the person's full name, approx. dates and/or location. Most people just scan the list of subjects for individuals/places they're researching and won't even look at a subject line titled "Alexander". BTW, "my" line had its US roots in Va., but several then went to Mason/Bracken Cty., Ky. and then to Monroe/Shelby/Marion Cts., Mo. Many Alexander lines settled first in the Chester Cty., Pa. region and then to various counties in Va. Good hunting.
