If you have not done so, you might post your info on tnhardin@rootsweb.com. This is for Hardin co, TN. Many Alexanders from Mecklenburg settled there. I am a descendent of Ezekiel Alexander and Martha (Patsy) Robinson or Robison from Mecklenburg Co. They came to Hardin Co via Wayne Co. They lived in Wayne Co for a time. There are several Ezekiels and I have not been able to verify the name of his father or mother. One possibility is the Elias and Keziah you mention. I have looked at them before. Children of Ezekiel and Martha were Josiah Lafayette Alexander, b 6/27/1814 d 01/01/1873 (my ggf), William Taylor Alexander, b 09/07/1816 d 06/19/1878, Cyrus Granvile Alexander, b 08/27/1818 d 05/21/1880, Rutha b 10/12/1822 d 04/05/1893, Sarah Jane, b 08/26/1824 d 01/06/1873. I am fairly sure all of these were born in Hardin Co and am sure that Granville, Josiah, and William were buried at Harmony Cemetary close to Cerro Gordo. There were other Alexanders that settled all around at Saltillo and other places. There were family connections that I have not fully sorted out between Alexanders in Hardin Co and Madison Co. Many of the Mecklenburg Co clan moved to Maury Co and settled there. I met a fellow in recent years that descended from the Maury Co group and we determined that we are related. I am sure that you and I are. Maury Co has a website with considerable information. Be sure to post on the Hardin Co site. Bill
