Its been a while since I've posted on Genforum or even read my old messages on here.I can't believe what I posted back in 2006 as further research debunked some of the things I thought back then.
My great-great-grandfather's name is Harvey McClellan Alexander (recently found out what the M stood for).I actually do NOT know who his parents are as there's no evidence except family hearsay (and only hearsay during the last 20 years) that Harvey J. Alexander was his father.
As for the information you posted, the only names that stand out to me are Duncan and Hannah.I came across their names many times during my research of Madison and Henderson Counties in Tennessee.
I will research all the names you posted to see if I can find some information that'll be helpful for you and your step-son.I doubt I'll find anything to help me, but I'm used to that.
I don't know if my g-g-grandfather was an only child or not...but he was born in 1850 in Tennessee (most likely in Madison or Henderson county as that's where he spent most of his life).
