I checked the website that you linked and found no indication of the sale. Since it did not go directly to the price list, I think the link got mixed up. When I went through the link on your alexanderdna.org website it went straight to the price list (with the sale prices). Also, it mentions that the y67-marker test was on sale for $199 (reg $238). Here is the link again to see if works the second time.
I had a question regarding the y37-marker test versus the y67-marker test. On the alexanderdna.org website, it recommends starting with the 37 marker test if you go with the FamilyTreeDNA test that they recommend because you can upgrade later without having to resubmit a sample. I was wondering whether they test for all 67-markers but just evaluate the 37-markers, or whether they hold the sample and re-test it if you upgrade? I am trying to get a distant male second cousin to submit a sample for the test (since Alexander is my mother's maiden name). I need to know whether there is a specific time limit or other limitations on upgrading to the 67 marker test, since re-submitting a sample would be difficult.
