While organizing my Stephen Parr genealogy I discovered an *important clue that is missing from " The Parr Family, Stephen of Delaware, Some of His Descendants and Allied Families" by Lucille Parr, pub. 1974.
The book references: the two New Castle County, Delaware, Orphans' Court, Book C:entries for Stephen Parr, orphan son of Stephen Parr; age 9 in 1743 on page 30,and age 12 in 1745, on pages 77&78.(Stephen was actually born in 1733 not 1730)
Missing from the book is the reference for the 1743 entry for John Parr, age 12, orphan son of Stephen Parr, apprenticed to his uncle Stephen Alexander ,on pages 35&36.(John was born 1730)
Does anyone have any references for Stephen's brother John Parr b: 1730 Delaware?
A quick internet search for Stephen Alexander, located only one Stephen Alexander from the much researched Alexander family who moved to Chester, Co, PA then NC. That Stephen Alexander is too young. Note: Stephen Parr moved briefly toChester, Co, PA.
Has anyone found any Parr connections to Alexander's around 1700 in Delaware or Maryland?
