Not sure you will find anything to help you among this:
It gave me a trail to figure out that this
1910 census Milam TX
Newell W. Pate 51 TX AL MI
Candras Pate 47 AL AL AL
is NOT the same as "my" Noah willoughby Pate who married Beth Stubblefield on 22 aug 1882.
Based on two pieces of info:
[1] First reason is that I have "my" Noah Willoughby Pate in the 1910 census for CHILDRESS COUNTY TX:
WILLIE M. PATE 49 W/M HEAD 1861;BETTIE PATE 44 W/F MD-27Y 1866;GUY PATE 24 W/M SON 1886;GILBERT PATE 20 W/M SON 1890;OLA PATE 17 W/F DAU 1893;GUSS PATE 5 W/M SON 910 MAY 1904)
which I know is "my" Pate family.
[2]second reason, I know the mother of "my" Noah Willoughby Pate & not in family below.

Alexander b. about 1856 in GA.1870 Comanche Co.TX Census has him living with Thomas and Margaret V. Jones. Margaret may have been a cousin.1880 Comanche Co. Census has him married to Artemis M. Stewart and three children-Ellen,Marion,and Andrew.Margaret V.(Alexander) Jones b. GA. had a brother Joseph A. Alexander (my g-grandfather) living in Poolville, Parker Co. TX in 1880.They had lived in Ducktown, Polk Co. TN during the Civil War.Margaret went to TX before 1870 andJoseph A. went in 1876.All of Joseph A. Alexander's children migrated to Oklahoma before 1906.---Jerry Alexander Duncan, OK ph-580-252-2649"My info: From a posting on one of the message boards (have not viewed the 1870 census for Comanche Co TX myself)Perhaps there was a Joseph S. Alexander on it also....Could Joseph S. Alexander be the Joel S. Alexander below?I have a Joel S. Alexander with a sister Candis/Candace/Canras/lizzy Elizabeth Alexander age 8 in that 1870 census Comanche co. TX with Margaret V. [mother]& stepfather Thomas Jones.Candis Elizabeth Alexander (b:1862) that married 4 may 1879: either "Nash" W. Pate or Newell W. Pate ....The only information I have for this family so far.My interest is to know if this Candis Alexander was married to Noah Willoughby Pate or who?

I'm not really an "authority" on all of this. That recognition best goes to Jinks Pate Lee. When I use notations like "AL25" it comes from the work that Jinks has done. Her AL25.1 chart is inserted below. In other charts Jinks reports that Newell W Pate was perhaps a son of Thomas Pate. If you have a chart of the descendants of John Wiley Pate (1864-1844) and Sarah Kornegay, please post it. Also if you have data on Pate AND allied family burials in Dixie Cemetery in Grayson Co TX, please share that. Not sure if you will find anything in the above [2] that will help you.
But I thank youfor that 1910 census Milam TX it proved that [unless there are two Candras that married to a Pate] "my Noah Willoughby Pate was not married to Candice Elizabeth Alexander.
Thanks again
