I answered on your email and it bounced. You are right, I don't follow the Gen.Forum as much as I should. Alexander was buried on the family farm and they had a picket fence around the grave. I have found no evidence that Agnes is also buried there but it is really only logical that she would be. Especially in that time period.
My main brick wall on that line is Christina Alexander, their dau, who m. William Ready. I have him ONLY on a tax list and that is it. Don't know where he came from or where he ended up. I am on the Ready surname list and seems as if they area all NC and other places. So I have almost quit looking for him.
Isn't it fun? I always teach my classes that there is no such thing as a FINISHED GENEALOGY! And I certainly have yet to find one. There is always a bit more to do, right?
