I have posted to you before and you did not reply.Perhaps you will this time. I am wanting to know if you have anything on a Bettie SUMMERS who married an ALEXANDER.I am thinking she probably married this Alexander in Franklin Co., AL prior to 1820, and was wondering if your Josiah Alexander was the Josiah Alexander who was in Franklin Co., AL in 1820.Bettie's husband apparently died at an early age (perhaps in the War of 1812) and she remarried to Joseph Linn Gray. She died prior to 1836, when Joseph Linn Gray was then married to Priscilla Boyd.Priscilla Gray transferred the bounty land that Joseph Gray got from his War of 1812 service to a William Alexander in 1856.I believe this to be the William Wilburn Alexander, born in 1803, Iredell Co., NC to James Alexander.Hope you can help.
