There is a family legend that Zaccheus Wilson, Signer of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence was married to a Keziah Alexander. Apparently some of his descendants believe this.Zaccheus Wilson's first wife was Elizabeth Conger Ross the widow of Nicholson Ross who died 1767-1774. It appears Elizabeth died before 1783 because she was not mentioned in her father's (John Conger's) will although Elizabeth's daughter Jane (Ross) was named to received a share equal to Elizabeth's sisters.
There is a deed which indicates the marriage of Zaccheus Wilson to a woman named Keziah, but was her name Keziah Alexander?
