In Abstracts of Rev. War Pension Files I found Jonathan S. ALEXANDER,wife: Bathsheba. Fought with NY Line. Soldier applied (for pension) 8 Aug 1832 at Oswego Cty NY,aged 83, enlisted Windham Cty, VT. Soldier born 1749 at Brattleboro VT, moved to NY in 1.808.Soldier's father was killed by Indians. Widow applied 20 Sep 1838 at Oswego Cty NY,aged 84.Married 10 May 1792. Soldier died 7 Mar 1834. Children: Annah Orvis b. 24 Jan 1793, Susannah b. 21 Jan 1795, Solomon b. 27 May 1797. Further info on widow follows above. Since there was only the one son, you might assume that Marancy was his child or grandchild.
