Hi! I have been researching my Alexander line, my 3 gr.gr.father was Moses Alexander. He lived in Putnam Co.,Mo.Hendricks Indiana prior to that. His family also lived in Estille Co.,Kty in the early 1800's. Any way, yesterday I was looking at a film of Estille Co,Court rec. I saw two indenture papers. They are dated April 1809. One for a Willis Alexander age 13 (he was to learn the trade of a Hatter), One for a Walter Alexander age 12.(He was to learn the trade of a farmer)They were indentured until age 21. They were Brothers. The indentures said they were sons of Rebecca.Perhaps the father was dead. I have pretty much combed the Estille rec. Alot of the Alexanders there, then moved to Hendricks Co, Ind. I do have a copy of all the Alexanders there in the 1850 cen, Can't find it at the moment,You should see my notes! I will look for it. I hope this gives you some assistance. If you belong to this Walter, you are most likely my relative!!!
