You are the first one I've run into that notes the MacDonald clan connection to the Alexanders.Robert II King of Scotland 1371-1390 had a daughter Margaret Stuart who married John MacDonald in 1350.They had a son named Alexander, Lord of Lochaber. His son, McAlexander is looked upon as the founder of the House of Alexander abt. 1400 A.D.The only thing I know from there is that somewhere down the line they left Scotland for France and eventually set sail for Prince Edward Isle, Canada. Then I get stumped....If anyone is interested look up the Glenaladale Settlers webpage and read about the MacDonalds....If anyone else has some information, please let me know. Thanks
