Joanne,
I think we are distantly related but I have found some inconsistancies in the Alexander Genealogy. I tried to e-mail you with the info I have found but the e-mail address did not work.
Basically this is it but if you want more info please contact me at my e-mail address.
1) Your line states that Robert Alexander born 1610 is the father of James Alexander born 1634. However this webpage (www.parsonstech.com/genealogy/trees/balford/) states that Robert's son was named Joseph, not James.
2) It also states that the father of brothers Andrew (your GGFather)and Samuel(my GGFather) was William Alexander, Robert's brother.
3) The only "James" name I could find was the son of Archibald, Robert and William's brother.
Are we wrong in our research or is this page wrong or am i just lost and cofused???:)
Any info you have to clear this up would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!
