(intention) 28 Jul 1770, to Sarah Pool and had 10 children (all born in Henniker Twp., Hillsborough--now Merrimack, NH): 1. Phebe (b.26 Jun 1773, d 1873 in Denmark, Oxford, ME )md. Thomas;PINGREE; 2. Patsey (b.1774)md. John BROWN; 3. Betsey (b.19 Oct 1777) md. Joseph TRUMBILL; 4. Jonas (b. 1778); 5. Sally (b. 1780) md. Daniel or Davie TYLER; 6. Olive (b. 1784) md. George ADAMS; 7. Jeduthan (b. 1786, d.aft. 1814 in Portland, ME); 8. Lydia (b. 1789); 9. Abi (b.1791) md. Capt. Stephen ADAMS; 10. Lewis (b.1793) md. a TRUMBILL & possibly died in VT.
Phebe (widow of Thomas) md. 2nd to Capt. Joseph LEWIS and the family moved to Harpswell, Cumberland, ME with their five children. After Joseph LEWIS d. Phebe moved to Brownfield to join the descendants of her oldest son, Jonas (who had moved from Henniker, NH to Maine aft 1800).
