According to "Iredell County Abstracts of the Minutes of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions: 1800 - 1814" the last will and testament of Allen Alexander was proved by Thomas Snoddy, Esq in the November session 1805. The executors were Joseph Steel, John Alexander and James Alexander who were deemed qualified and who letters testamentary were issued.
Have you seen Allen Alexander's complete will? Does it name his children - if so, who were they? If John and/or James Alexander were not his children, what was their relationship to Allen?
Thank you for any help you might be able to give me.
