His parents are thought to be Allen U. Alexander and Nancy Murdock.
In addition, his son Hamilton Lorenzo Dowell Alexander m. Amanda Adelaide ALEXANDER, 23 January 1835 (her maiden name was Alexander), they were married in the home of Allen Alexander. We theorize that her father was Allen, son of Allen U., and that therefore she and her husband were cousins.
Can you shed any light on the parents of David and/or Amanda Adelaide Alexander?
