That's the right line all right. Robert II m. Ann Austin and had John, who married Cobbs, who had children, including Olivia. My great, great grandmother.
I have traced Robert II alll the way up to the early Kings of Scotland. There is two direct connections to Robert Bruce I, King of Scotland. The various kings of England and Scotland above Robert Bruce are also direct ancestors. If you don't have this information, I would be happy to share. I have the chronology back to 1300 pretty good, but there are a couple of inconsistent points. If you have info to clarify them, I would be elated.I also have some questions on Robert I father and grandfather. Some genealogical records have Robert I, son of William, son of Archibald, son of Andrew, so of Alexander Alexander, who married Lady Douglas @1530. But there are other chronologies I have seen that change this order. And they have so many names often the same person is Alexander Alexander and Andrew, or William. So it is a bit confusing.
My sisters and I have jumped into our genealogical history with passion. We haven't had any connections to the Alexander family since my dad died when I was young, and his father died early as well. Edmonia Page, Olivia Alexander's daughter, played a big part in my father and grandfather's lives. But we never knew much about the Alexanders, even though through Edmonia's encouragement, my dad and his father gave many of the Alexander family names to their offspring. Including me- Thomas Alexander Bledsoe, and my sister Ann Alexander.
Love to learn more about the family, and about you. Are we fourth of fifth cousins. After Olivia Alexander, the generations for my line are Edmonia Randolph Page, Thomas A. Bledsoe, Thomas Alexander Bleldsoe,II Thomas Alexander Bledsoe, III, Thomas Alexander Bledsoe,Jr. IV (me).
I'll send you more info directly to your email address.
