According to reliable information from a member of his family who now owns part of the original land, Samuel and Elizabeth are buried in unmarked graves behind a church that they helped establish. The location is just off I-75 in Loudon County, TN. Samuel and Elizabeth married April 28, 1808, in Logan County, KY, where she lived and where he was (visiting?) with the families of his uncles, William and Matthew Alexander.
I have the following children listed, supported by census data except for Robert and Sarah: John Hinton, 1813; Robert C., about 1816 or 1817; Sarah, 1820; Margaret, about 1822; Elizabeth E., about 1827 or 1828; Louisa E., about 1829; and Samuel Logan, about 1830 or 1831. Sarah's descendant has information showing that she was Samuel's and Elizabeth's daughter.
