I assume you are trying to establish the Revolutionary Record of Britton Brasselle. He is listed in the Ga. Land Lotteries as a REv. Soldier. There were two Britton Brasselle's in Ga. during the same time period - both Rev. Soldiers. One lived and died in Jackson Co., Ga., ours moved to Jones Co., Ga. from Edgefield Co., SC. His wife Ladicy (Davis)d. there ca 1824.Some data on the family comes from some church minutes. Britton and Laodicia Brassell joined the County Line Primitive Baptist Church on 6/15/1811. Barshaba and Brittian Alford joined 1814. The Alfords asked for their letter on 12/27/1817 (moved to Pike Co. ?) Britton Brassell was excluded on 9/20/1823 by the church. It is believed he went to live with his daughter Barshaba in Pike Co after his wife died. He died there and was buried in the Alford Family Cemetery. This is well documented.
I am trying to establish that Isham Alford, father of Britton Washington Alford, Sr., is the son of Lodowick Alford and Rebecca Ferrell. Do you have proof of their children?
