Mrs. Margaret Ophelia Edwards, the second of four children and t only daughter of Harold and Annie Pearl Alford born in LaGrange, Georgia on November 18, 1928.She departed this life Tuesday, August 2, 1988.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Isaac James Alford.
Mrs. Edwards was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served as president of the Senior Usher Board and in any capacity of the church where she was needed.She loved her church very much.She never said no.
Left to cherish her great memories are her two daughters, Sherial Faye Campbell, Stafford, Va.; Amelia West, Seattle, Wash.; two sons, Paul DeWayne Smith, Xenia, Ohio; Harold Tracy Smith, Nashville, Tn.; two brothers, Curtis Williams, Cincinnati, Ohio; Grady Alford, Chatta., Tn.; one son-in-law, Tommy E. Campbell, two daughters-in-law, Brenda L. Smith, Harriett L. Smith, sixteen grandchildren, several uncles, aunts, other relatives (too) numerous to mention and a host of friends who dearly loves her.
