Daniel B., I never knew the Ernest Alfrey you have mentioned here. The Ernest Ira Alfrey that I know of was my grandpa of whom was married to Amy Fern Alfrey. His Dad as good as my memory serves me was John Alfrey. John had several sons one being Dutch Alfrey that was married to Marry Alfrey. I do not remember Dutch's name but his sons were Eugene and Norland and his daughter was Mary. Ernest and Amy Alfrey (1901-2002) had 5 children, Cecil, Irena, Everitt, Norvel and Virgil. Virgil (1929-2005) is my Dad. He was married twice. Him and his first wife Norma had Steven Lynn, Tommy (passed away in 1997), Barbarra Ann and Mark. Virgil then remarried and had 6 more children of which I am the second oldest. Ethel Marie is his lovely second wife, my Mom.Danny Lee, Michael Timothy, Rebecca Marie, Philip Brian, Rachael Elizabeth (Named after a great great granmother burried in Colorado) and Eric Ira Alfrey. Most of these Alfreys resided between the Eastern line of Colorado (cities of Walsh, Vilas and Springfield) and Greensburgh, Kansas.I looked at all of the threads on here and did not see any links to this part of the ALFREY family. I would be interested in finding out how we link in to the rest of the tree. I do not know when the first Alfreys came to America.you can reach me at ALFREY@GMAIL.COM or MIKEALFREY@YAHOO.COM.
