Pierre and Modeste are my 4th grand-parents by their daughter Théophite.
Your John A. Allain should be Jean-Abel Allain which was born March 1, 1873 in Paspébiac.
There are still a lot of Allain living in Port-Daniel, Paspébiac, Anse-aux-Gascons, Newport (Bay Chaleur area in Bonaventure County)
