I have a photo taken in 1920 of a group of people, presumably in Fife. It was I believe intended for Bessie (Sinclair) Penman, though I doubt she ever received it. I have no idea who is in this photo, except I believe it to be family, which might be comprised of Sinclairs, Penmans and/or Allans. If you're related to any Sinclairs, Penmans, Allans, or Rentons from Fife, you may want to inspect this picture for familiar ancestors. The URL is:
All I know of my Sinclair lineage is that Alexander Sinclair married Catherine Allan. I believe they settled in Cowdenbeath, Fife. They had the following children: John, Mary, Elizabeth and Catherine (b.about 1894) and Alexander (who died at 17). Catherine had a love affair at 16 with a grocer named William Henderson which produced Alexander Duncan Sinclair in 1910. She later married Peter McGuire and had a daughter by him. Elizabeth married James Penman. Mary Married William Renton and emigrated to Canada in 1920.
