The Calvert/Colberts and Coopers originally came from Accomack Co., VA in the 1600's.After that the Cooper's moved to Isle of Wight Co., VA and eventually made their way to Bute (now Franklin) Co., NC along with the Colberts and Pinnells (who also came from Accomack Co., VA).
Before that the Calverts, Coopers, and Pinnells lived in Northamptonshire, England.

Colbert who lived with Aaron and Sarah and their children. Aaron's and George's cattle brand was the same, exact George's was upside down and Aaron's was right-side up.
They had two other sisters. One was Rebecca Vashty Colbert. She married Silas Taylor Evans, the Baptist minister of Pony Creek Baptist Church. The other was Martha. She married a Cox.All lived in Erath County.
