daughter: Aley ALLENb. 1823d. (?) married: William KELLEYb. 1818d. (?) in Teges, Clay co., KY
We don't know for certain, but feel all these Allens were in Clay county or there abouts.
We don't know if Aley ALLEN was an only child or not.
William Kelley came to Teges Kentucky with his parents from Tennessee in an ox drawn covered wagon.
Both William KELLEY and Aley ALLEN are buried on the point of a hill on what was known as the Kelley farm.In Aug. 1966, my grandmother, Zinnia Catherine Quisenberry, made a trip back to see the Kelley farm and to do other genealogy research. She wrote in her Memo Book: "The Kelley farm is in Big Sexton Creek, near Saddler Gap.We go through the Kelley Cut on the road from Manchester to the Kelley farm."
If your Clay county ALLEN's match mine and if you can give me any additional information, I would be very grateful. If you can point me in the right direction, so I can at least fill in the blanks (?) I sure would appreciate any assistance you can render.Thank you.
