No, it doesn't. It gives a place where they lived for some of them. One of them, I'm working on as we speak I found where he and his wife are buried. Samuel H Allen (b1793 d9/19/1880) and Charlotte (b7/13/1796 d7/5/1858) in the Allen Cemetery in Howard, Steuben Co, NY.My problem at this point is there are 13 other Allens buried here. One of them, William Allen (b3/8/1790 d11/7/1869) at first appears to be Samuel's brother, and would match with what little I have already, but I have William's wife as Sally Robards and this William has a Phebe buried with him. The further problem with identifying him is that I don't recognize his children, but all of them that are buried, save for one 29 year old didn't live to see the age of 6, so maybe my Ggrandparents, when putting our bible together missed them. It doesn't appear that they visited this cemetery otherwise they would have a lot more information.
I also have a William Allen buried in Amsterdam (d12/14/1844 aged 85) and his wife Margaret (d10/30/1833 aged 67). Also another Margaret (d4/30/1832 aged 51) who is listed at wife of John T, who I have as a son of William, but John T is not buried here. I am looking around NY cemeteries for more of them.
Thankfully, I have maiden names of wives and names of husbands so it's making it a lot easier. Problem is, I'm begining to doubt some of the information in the bible since I don't have a source and cannot find a lot of it in records. Although since it's been put together since my GGrandfather, a lot of it may be memories.
I'll post more about the cemetery search when I find it.
