I apologize for the evasive message. I am reseaching the Mobley/Blake/Stinson/Massey famiilies.
Yes, Neal you are right, Thomas Stinson was adopted by his grandfparents( John and Janie Stinson).There lived in Waxhaw or Chester, Lancaster County, SC via the 1920 census.
The family story is Thomas's mother was Rosie or Rosa Stinson.His father was a Allen.His sibling names recorded in my aunt bible is Marion Larimer,Gwendoly,Pete, Susie Stinson.
I know that I looking for a needle in the hay stack.
I hoped that someone was looking for a lost son or brother.

Married to Lillie Blake Mobley
They had 7 children: John Marshall , Bernice, Thomas, Alice, Dorothy, Euncie, Marcellus, Ethridge Stinson.
This family lived in the Lancaster County area until 1932.They moved to Harrisburg,onto Concord, NC.
Hope this information will give insight to my lost relative.
Oh yeah, they are Africian-American Families.
