Judy: I am looking for a Nora Agnes ALLEN, born 1805 in SC.That's all I have. But I did copy some Allen material from the IN libraries recently and will check for your Thomas.
My Nora AGNES ALLEN ended up marrying in 1829 to George PERKINS in Wayne County, IN.She was born in 1805, not long after your Thomas.
Could there possibly be a connection?
I was told that a lot of the Allens were Quakers, and I did find a lot of them in the Quaker records in Wayne County, IN.A mass migration of Quakers from SC supposedly left there between 1802 and 1807 and headed towards the Miami Valley.
Agnes, as her marriage record calls here, eventually became a Methodist; at least, that's the religion that is claimed by her children and husband.
Will check my matrial soon.Perhaps we are looking for brother/sister or other relation.Agnes did not name any of her children Thomas, and she had quite a few sons.Did your Thomas name any daughters Nora or Anges?
