Thank you for posting these early Georgia Allen. It may help considerably in sorting out these Georgia Allens.
Would be so kind as to read message # 15526 of this forum and see if any of your Allen records shed any light on the Allens listed near the end of the message ??
Also does your "Early Pioneers" books list any Spurlocks (somtimes spelled "Spullock" in Georgua - but not Scurlock). I am trying to trace an Allen/Spurlock family connection ca 1785-90 Wilkes County, Ga. This could have been Elbert-Franklin-Richmond as the county lines shifted . I think an Allen lady married a John Spurlock in Virginia and went to Surry County, N.Car. and died in Wilkes County, Ga.(at least. John Spurlock did).
The name Adoniram Allen would seem to indicate the Allen clan that followed a New Jersey-Surry County, B.Car. path to Wilkes/Elbert County, Ga.
