EV, Sorry to take so long to reply.Thanksgiving and a bad cold and a broken toe sort of sidelined me for awhile.Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving.Anyway, my Eason William Allen b. 1827 and brother of Andaline Susan Thomas Allen Hall b. 1825 (my great grandfather's mother)was the son of John Earl Allen, not his brother, or so I thought. In other words, John Earl and Eason William were father and son not brothers.Am I wrong?My grandmother had a brother named Eason Allen Hall, named after her father's uncle, Eason William b. 1827 d. 1864 in the Civil War.Was there a John Earl Allen Jr.?Please straighten me out because I may be on a wild goose chase.
