Thank-you for the information. It looks great and I will try to find 'Settlers of the Beekman Patent' to get his sources.
While most of what he has agrees with my info on my Weston, I think the author is mistaken that Betsey, who m Shelby Caulkins, was my Weston's dau.I have nominal tax rolls for Elizabethtown from 1801 through 1807 listing Weston & Hannah and their family but no Betsey appears with them: the only females living with him are (wife) Hannah; Sarah; Phebe; Ruth;(dau-in-law) Margaret [Armstrong]; (granddau) Susanna; and (granddau) Sally/Sarah Mosher.
Another thing that I am curious about is the wife of Ebenezer, s/o my Weston's, who he says is Lucy.I have found reference to Lucy Chapman being married to Ebenezer Allan but 'Dictionary of Canadian Biography lists her as one of the wives of 'the other Ebenezer Allan', the one with three wives, who died 1813. I wonder if this is confused and which Ebenezer she actually married.
Do you have any idea if 'the other Ebenezer' is connected with our Westons at all?
