Hiram, who may have been the same as your Hiram, was born in 1838 in New York.He was one of five sons of Melissa Aldridge and George W. ALLEN.Josephus was born in 1843, Horace in 1846, and Lorenzo in 1848.Melissa passed away after the birth of Lorenzo.There is an unknown brother.George and the family moved to Minnesota by 1856 when he married Penelope (Johnson) Purdy who had two boys by a previous marriage.George and Penelope had six additional children.They moved from Olmsted Co. MN to Iowa.They both passed away in Whiting IA.He in 1898 and she in 1910.I would be really interested in his statistics and particulars if you know of them.Peace be with you!
