My ancestors were Jeremiah, Uriah and Joseph Wilson. We have a day log kept by Nathaniel Wilson, who was Uriah's son, they were both born in New Jersey. There were two Jeremiahs, father and son. After leaving Washington Co., PA, they went to Kentucky.Nathaniel eventually came to Indiana to settle, which is how I landed here.
We did not find a Jolliff, but haven't found any wives names yet.The follwing names are listed in the day log, in case they ring a bell:
Nathaniel Wilson, Uriah Wilson, H. Wilson, John Wilson, Jeremiah Wilson, David Wilson, Robert Lowry, J. Keith Wilson,, Joseph Wilson, Jessee Reynolds, John Jacks, James Gafferty, John Howard, David Legate, Joseph Gafferty, James Newkirk, Edward Roberts, Charles Roberts, Ezekiel Blair, John Gelaspie, John Galvin, Joseph Clark, John Clark, Thompson Clark, John Neal, John Brothers, James Collins, Robert Logan, George Allan, and Daniel Vavil.
They were building a mill 1819-1822 on Hinkston Creek, near Plumlick, Montgomery Co., Kentucky. The log was found in the wall of the family log cabin when it was torn down years ago.
