Erna, I've had a heck of a time, sending to your email address, bounces back with message not a valid address, or some such.
A bit more on the Allen and Parkers, but not the one in your post above.
Robert Smith Parker b. June 11, 1846 died 1922 Cynthia Evelyn Allen b. June 19, 1845 died Nov 29 1935.Both died in Talladega Co. Alabama and are buried at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church near Lincoln. This is Hiram Allen's daughter, sister of a Columbus Allen b. 1843.
This is the Hiram Allen that married Cynthia Wofford Cooley. They are found on the 1850 Jackson Co. GA census. This may be the Hiram Allen that is found on the 1860 Floyd Co. GA census.Remember that Isaac M. Ford married Sara Ann Wofford in 1844 in Floyd Co. GA.Their grandson Calep Milton Ford is the one who married Lula Allen the daughter of Columbus H. Allen and Rachel E. Lloyd.I need to try to find this Hiram Allen on the 1860 Floyd Co Ga census, if it is online yet on Ancestry.com
I believe that this is Columbus H. Allen's daughter Cynthia Emma Allen b. Mar 8, 1873 Munford, Talladega Co. Al. died May 16, 1928, Union, Newton, Miss. married: Columbus Perkins Willmon b. June 18, 1870 Silver Run, Talladega Co. Al. died May 16, 1928 Union, Newton, Miss.
Married Dec 27, 1888, Munford, Talladega Co. Al
On C. H. Allen's will he names his daughter, Syntha/Cynthia Wilemon.Could that be a misspelling and the name is Willmon instead?
I have the names and dates of Columbus and Cynthia Willmon's children; several were born in Anniston, only one of them died in Alabama.
The names of the children who were born in Alabama are:
Allen Columbus Willmon 1890, Ragland Al
Claude Rey Willmon 1892 Anniston Calhoun Co. Al
Fred Eugene Willmon 1895 Anniston, Calhoun Co. Al
Harry Roscoe Willmon 1899 Anniston, Calhoun Co. Al married Lillie Hazel Wells
Luther Howard Willmon b. 1902 Lincoln Co. Ms
Ottis Clifford Willmon, b. Jun 13, 1905 Hattiesburg,MS. died May 15, 1957, Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa Co. Alabama.Married Lura Mae Bonner.Don't have children for them.
Lillian Irene Willmon b. 1907, Lamar Co. MS
I found a note that I made of the following: Mary Lee McHarque/McHague married Columbus H. Allen, married second, Ray Barnes.I guess at the time, I thought I would remember the other information or else had one of my "senior moments."
On the same page of notes I have: Columbus Allen age 20 enlisted 3/28/1865 mustered 2/27/1865 Tennessee CSA Co. C 8th. Mounted Infantry.
If these people aren't connected to Columbus H. Allen, I think I will just give up.They have to be, just too many coincidences.I don't think a bookie would even make odds on this group.
I still think that Columbus Allen's first will was in Talladega. Also, I can't remember if my aunt or cousin said something about him living at one time in Talladega or what.I wish I could find those notes, but there is no telling where they are.I unpacked some of these notes today, that is why I have them now.
