I do not have any information on your posting but I am very interested in Fisher/Allen connections.
Abraham Fisher and Rhoda Layton were probably married about 1773, and most likely in Virginia. Among their children was a daughter named Mahala who was born around 1780 and married a Mr. Allen (first name unknown to me). Date of marriage was around 1800, estimating.
I'm fairly certain that Mr. Allen and Mahala lived in Caswell Co., NC. He may have died there. Probably did. Mahala was listed as head of a household in Cooper Co., MO, in 1830. In 1840, she was head of a household in Morgan Co., MO. I think she was dead by 1850.
Mahala had siblings named Caleb Fisher who married Mary Heither/Heather; Prudence Fisher who married David Strader; Trustrum Fisher who married Catherine Golden; Mary Fisher who married Samuel Driscoll/Driskill; Rachel Fisher who married Furness Adair; Milcah Fisher who married a Mr. Dill (first name unknown). Most of these lived in the Caswell Co., or Rockingham Co., NC are before moving westward.
Caleb Fisher, Trustrum Fisher, Mahala Fisher Allen, Rachel Fisher Adair all wound up in Missouri in Morgan or Moniteau County.
