Searching for any information and/or relatives to Washington Allen b. 4/6/1824 in OH, & wife Mary (her birthdate, their marriage date unknown) of Bellefontaine, Logan Co., OH in 1860's.Washington was either W. Washington or Washington W., but went by "Wash."He is on the Liberty Township federal census for 1860 in Logan Co.They moved to Benton Co., MO, after 1861, where he died 3/18/1875. He is buried in the Warsaw City Cemetery. There is a Masonic emblem on his tombstone. Mary's middle name is listed on their son Edward's death certificate as McCanky, but I have never found any other person or family in ten years of searching with that last name, so I believe it to be a mistake. There is a William M. Allen, d. Sept. 24th, 1859, age 2 years, 4m., 8d., son of W. & M. Allen, buried in the McCracken Cemetery in Liberty Township. This could be their son, and further point to her maiden name as being McCracken instead of McCanky, but I don't know whether or not this is true at this at this point.
Their known children:
