In reference to your posting, copied and pasted below, the following is provided.

Lancaster Co., Va. was formed in 1651, not 1652.
Spotsylvania Co., Va. was formedin 1721 from Essex, King William, and King and Queen counties.

Old Rappahannock Co from Lancaster Co. - 1656
Middlesex Co. from Lancaster Co. - 1673.
Essex Co. from Old Rappahannock Co. - 1692
