Doing research on both sides of my wife's , my own and my step children's father's,parents----it seems that" all trails lead thru Indiana". Our ancestors were born in KY - N.C. - S.C. - TN & PA, yet they all seemed to migrate to Indiana at one point or another. Most were before the Civil War, but some afterwards as well. What was the "magic draw" that Indiana had at those times? Most of our families moved away from there (except the ones that passed away there), yet every tree had branches from there. JUST CURIOUS,maybe someone has an explanation! Thanks,Dave.
