The following family began in England and emigrated to NJ c 1827-1828.In early 1830's they moved to Pittsburgh, PA.Willian Allen went to work on steamboats on Ohio, Mississippi and Arkansas Rivers; George followed but died in an explosion in Little Rock, AR; Rebecca married a judge in Van Buren, AR and, Edward (the son) "went West" on the Overland-Oregan trail and later served in the army during the Civil War.
I am interested in filling in the gaps listed below and trying to find descendents of any or all of these people.I would appreciate any help that anyone can offer.
