Miss Elizabeth Walton Allen, born in St. Louis, Missouri, was the daughter of Judge George W. Allen and of Lydia MacMillan. She was born on October 1, 1882, and had been staying in England. There, she was engaged to Doctor James B. Mennell, a physician, and was returning aboard the R. M. S. Titanic to go to her home town to retrieve her valuables. She was with her aunt, Mrs. Edward Scott Robert (Elizabeth Walton MacMillan), and her cousin, Miss Georgette Alexandra Madill, the daughter of Mrs. Robert. Mrs. Robert was also travelling with her maid, Miss Amelia Kenchen. More information can be provided of them at http://www.rmplc.co.uk/eduweb/sites/phind/ This is family, I know of it. For I am an Allen, from the Scottish side of things, and from there, I am a Bell. How I am a Bell? Two reasons. First, if I am an Allen and I noted the name of MacMillan in Miss Allen's mother's maiden name, then that is obviously of the Bell Clan, which I am also apart of due to the fact that my uncle is Alexander Graham Bell, and his father, Melville Bell, is Scottish. If you would like more information, go to http://www.rmplc.co.uk/eduweb/sites/phind/, and search under the first class area, for there, you can look up Elizabeth Walton Allen, whose name is mistaken for Elisabeth, and her aunt's and mother's maiden names are mistaken for McMillan. There you have some information on yours and my own family!Regards, J.
