In seeking data on my Henry ALLEN and Abraham HILL families in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, I am searching photocopies I made from microfilmed pages of the “Bucks County Intelligencer” newspaper of Doylestown, PA.In doing so, I transcribed the following items pertaining to those surnames.(I was NOT looking for “everything” for those surnames.I was only copying the Marriage and Death lists. An occasional full obituary or memorial poem may be found elsewhere for prominent individuals. I have not had time to search for those.Miscellaneous items were noted by chance.)Capitalization is generally as it was found, although the newspaper used both large and small capital letters in spelling the names of the news items’ deceased or married subjects. The following were found on Positive Roll #12, obtained via Interlibrary Loan from the State Library of Pennsylvania. The date range covered by this M/F roll was from 13 November 1866 to 5 March 1872.
I would like to hear from other Bucks County Allen researchers, so we might sort them out and perhaps chart them.
