The son David Weldon Allen married Alice Chandler in 1903 Haralson Co. GA.Alice was the dtr. of William Pierce Chandler and Missouri Vasti Gentry.William Pierce Chandler was my gg uncle.Marshall Allen married Frances Jane Robertson, dtr. of Missouri Vasti Gentry Chandler and Robert Robertson, in other words step sister of Alice Chandler.
Pinckney Allen's son Homer Lloyd/Loyd Allen married Josie Sewell in 1904 Haralson Co. GA.Josie was dtr. of John Greenberry Sewell and Martha D. Hughes.Grand daughter of Greenberry Franklin Sewell (my 4th great uncle) and Emily Jean.
Now what I would like to do is connect this family of Allens with the family of Robert Allen Jr. and Elizabeth Young of VA and later NC.Some of these Allens stayed in VA with others moving southwards into NC, later SC and then GA, before parts of them moved westwards.
