Nancy (Green, Conn,) Allen. was the widow of Major John Braxton Allen from Attala Co. Mississippi. Shemoved to Polk Co. Arkansa with her son, from her previous marriage to James Conn. in Mississippi.
John Braxton Allen died in 1859. Nancy was left a widow and brought 2 of John's children by him to Arkansas.

T.C. Conn is the brother of Green Conn. Green Conn was a guard on the Wagon train that left Kosciusko Miss. in 1867 headed by Jason Harrison. They were headed to Texas but several of the family of the Harrison's died in the area and the families decieded to stay in Arkansas.
In 1870 Nancy was brought to Polk Co. Arkansas. She is buried at Liberty Cemetery in the Crystal Hill area of Polk Co.Arkansas.
