I have a JOHN ALLEN IV from BUNCOMBE married to DINAH STUART married about 15 Jan 1807, Cane Creek MM, Chatham co,NC - This John died before Civil War, 1847. The John you are looking for COULD be a son - Don't have their children's names.

JOHN ALLEN III was married to RACHEL STOUT 1779 and had 13 little ALLENS.2 of their daughters, Phebe, & Abigail were both married to JACOB HINSHAW.
