I just located the following: Newspaper: Freeborn County Standard Publication: 6 May 1891 - Albert Lea, "Caleb Allen had his foot badly crushed by an engine at Montevideo while walking on the track near the Milwaulkee depot." I just recieved the Obit for Caleb from a wonderful Brown Co. RAOGK volunteer: OBIT: Sleepy Eye Dispatch 14 May 1891 Mr. Caleb Allen, a former citizen of this county, who was badly injured by a train on the H & D Ry., at Montevideo, died on Monday of his injuries and his remains are expected here for interment to-day. Mr. Allen was between 75 and 80 years of age and very feeble. He leaves a son, Mr. Henry Allen and a daughter Mrs. EugeneRicketh (Picket), of Montevideo to mourn his demise. Does anyone know who the parents of Caleb are or any siblings?
