ALLEN-BEMIS--In Denver, Colorado, Wednesday, June 10, 1903, by the Rev. W.F. Allen, Mr. H Wilfried Allen of Longmont and Miss Katie May Bemis of Los Angeles, California. Both the young people are well known in Longmont, and were married at the home ofMr. and Mrs. F.W. Slocum--old friends and former resident of Longmont.The house was beautifully decorated with pink and green, and the bride wore while silk muslin with orange blossoms sent from her home in California.The wedding was celebrate with a few relatives and friends present. Miss Bemis is the daughter of Mr. H. G. Bemis of Los Angeles, who for years was engaged in the jewelry business in Longmont, and she has always been a favorite among the young people.Mr. Allen has resided here for several years, and is the son of Prof. J. Allen. In a few days Mr. and Mrs. Allen will come to Longmont, where they will reside for a couple of months before going to Pittsburg, Pa., where they will reside permanently, Mr. Allen, who recently graduated from the State University at Boulder, having accepted a position in the electrical department of the Westinghouse manufacturing plant.
