If you look at one of Henry Allen census records on Ancestry, it will show other records on him and one is a Vermont death record. click on that record and it will show a card that was typed. In the Index it does say Henry A. Allen, but when you look at the original it looks like it was typed over and you can not tell if it is a A. or B. It does state birth date 27 Mar 1839 not 1835 and this is not correct[for your Henry], but it does say mother Ruby Black & father Henry Allen. Ruby is not a common name and Black is just to close to Blake. Just what does the original record say. The original record may also say where he was buried and the informat of the information on Henry. Since it says he was 85 years & 39 days, his memory might not have been good. Death records can have wrong information and are taken as secondary record on proof.
