Josephine, do you still believe James R Wilson may have been a grandson of Joseph & Annie [Turner] Allen?I can find abolutely nothing about their six daus, but haven't given up the search.A descendant of one of their sons, Arnold Turner Allen, d1860, did a DNA test and turned out to not match with any Allens. He matched with the Boddie/Bodie surname.Joseph & Annie's son, Nathan O. had a nickname "Boddie".If you're interested, I have an Allen myfamily site.Be happy to send an invitation.I, too, believe James mother was a dau of Joseph & Annie, who were my step ggg grandparents.Their son, Joseph Poke Allen, married my gg grandmother, Frances/Fanny Bradley.
